In Britain showed the Armed Forces on Sea King helicopters (video)

In the United Kingdom, it is planned to hand over SEA King helicopters as follows. 10 crews of the Armed Forces have already been trained in management of equipment. Specialists of the Royal Navy conducted training at Sea King helicopters for the Armed Forces. This was reported by the UK Ministry of Defense. It is noted that the training was conducted for 10 crews of the Armed Forces. In the course of training, the Ukrainian military managed to expand their search and rescue functions.

The ministry also added that SEA King helicopters will soon be transferred to Ukraine as part of further support. According to BBC, Sea King was previously used by both royal military-air forces and royal fleet, but was written off by the Navy in 2018. In November, it became known that the United Kingdom will hand over 3 Sea King helicopters to Ukraine. At that time, the pilots have already undergone six -week training, which will allow you to perform search and rescue operations.

At the same time, British military expert Michael Clark, commenting on the supply of three Sea Kings to Ukraine, noted that the royal naval fleet of the United Kingdom used them against submarines. We will remind, on December 28 it was reported that the Latvian military-air forces received the first two shock helicopters UH-60m Black Hawk from the United States, which will be replaced by the Soviet Mi-17.
