Rotten "Admiral Kuznetsov": The only aircraft carrier of the Navy of the Russian Federation is not repaired - intelligence

The building of the ship has been so suffered by corrosion that the ship cannot be descended on the water, and the specialists of the ship repair plant, where the aircraft carrier is now, can not even give approximate time of its recovery. On January 9, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports. According to the intelligence agency, Admiral Kuznetsov is now in a critical condition at the 35th Shipying Plant in Murmansk (RF).

In order to continue the repair work, a decision was recently made to transfer a ship from a dry dock to one of the berths of the ship repair plant, but during the preparation for transportation it was found that the aircraft carrier is not able to move on its own.

In this regard, there was an attempt to move the vessel with the help of tugboats, but it was also impossible - ship repairmen warned that the state of "Admiral Kuznetsov" did not allow it to be dropped on the water, because it would be highly likely to turn to the side and sink.

During the inspection of the housing of the ship, the diver found that metal structures below the third deck were significant corrosion, because of which the holds were filled with muddy water, and further internal examination of the vessel is impossible. Against this background, a scandal emerged between the factory management and the fleet - the agencies are trying to shift responsibility for the current state of affairs.

In addition, officials cannot even understand who made the decision to move the aircraft carrier from the dock to the pier. As a result of the Navy command, penalties have been fined for one and a half billion rubles for the failure of the repair and failure to perform the contract. The enterprise, for its part, provided a document stating that the plant is not guilty of proving "Admiral Kuznetsov" to a deplorable state.

"The military representation at the plant, which was supervised in the course of the work, is highly likely to be found guilty," Gur noted, adding at the same time that there is not even approximate time of returning the aircraft carrier to the service. Earlier it was reported that on the aircraft carrier "Admiral Kuznetsov", which is located on the territory of the ship repair plant "Star" in Murmansk, a fire broke out.
