Ukrainians actively buy luxurious cars during the war: the most popular brands and models

The sale of expensive cars in Ukraine set a new record in 2022. The leadership in the premium segment is preserved by German brands. Last year, it turned out to be very successful for the car premium segment. Despite the war, its share in the market has reached a record 17. 5% - it is the highest indicator in the history of Ukraine. Such statistics are provided by the Autoconsulting information and analytical group. In 2022, about 7,000 new premium cars were sold in the Ukrainian market.

In some months, their share in the market even exceeded 20%. For comparison, in 2021 this figure was 13. 4%. Half of all gorgeous cars were sold in Kiev and the capital region. They also were in demand in Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv and Odessa regions. The leadership in the segment is preserved by German brands. The first place is left for BMW - 25% of sales account for the brand. The second position is occupied by Mercedes-Benz, and the third Audi. Expensive crossovers have the highest demand.
