Prosecutors suspect that the man in 2022 passed the information obtained during his professional activity, Russian intelligence. The information, in turn, was a state secret. It should be noted that according to the German edition of Spiegel, the Federal Intelligence Service of Germany was the first to learn about the state treason of one of the employees and initiated an official investigation.
After significant internal investigations, the suspicions were confirmed and the Fed sought help from the Federal Prosecutor's Office. We will remind, in September 2022 in the Czech Republic exposed an employee of the Foreign Ministry, who worked on the Russian Federation. The Czech diplomat worked in the Ministry since the 1990s and transmitted secret information to the Russians. He began cooperating with Russia after acquaintance with the agent of the RSS of the Russian Federation in Africa.
