The assistant of the American leader in National Security Jake Sullivan believes...

It will greatly affect the negotiations: Baiden told what to expect from the Armed Forces counter -offensive

The assistant of the American leader in National Security Jake Sullivan believes that the main task of the Armed Forces for today is to make the maximum possible progress on the battlefield. The counter -offensive of the Armed Forces can help Kiev repel the "strategically important territory", which is now controlled by the Russian side. This was stated by the US National Security Assistant Jake Sullivan, CNN reports in the publication of June 4.

"We are convinced that a counter -offensive will allow Ukraine to repel strategically important territories in Russia," Sullivan said. However, the politician did not specify the territory. According to him, the US will help Ukraine as much as it will be needed to restore its territorial integrity.

As of today, the main task for our country and the Union countries is to make the most possible progress on the battlefield, which will allow Ukraine to take the most favorable position at the table of future peace talks. During the interview, journalists also asked Sullivan how the counter -offensive of the Armed Forces would affect the fighting theater and whether it would bring peace. Baiden's assistant from national security did not directly answer this question.

However, he assured the media representatives that the successful counter -offensive of Ukraine will have a great impact on negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, which will still happen in the future. We will remind, the CIA Exglav on June 4 stated that the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces will be very strong and will reach the climax in the first 3-4 days.

General David Petreus believes that Ukraine will be able to block Russia with a land corridor to the Crimea, but the peninsula itself will not be released yet. The media also wrote that on June 3, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine was ready for a counter -offensive. According to the Head of State, Ukraine's defense forces will succeed during the long -awaited counter -offensive, but it can take a long time and cause heavy losses to the country.
