Yusov noted that especially many appeals came from the captured Crimea, where Ukrainians have been forced to live under Russian occupation for many years. Now they want to force them against their country.

Yusov listed the basic rules in the process of being captured: "It is a simple set of gestures and symbols, which shows the absence of aggressive intentions," - said the representative of GUR. Yusov did not name the number of Russian soldiers who are already in Ukrainian captivity. He explained that a difficult negotiation process is currently underway to exchange prisoners of war, so such information is strategically important and cannot be disclosed.

At the same time, he stressed that Ukraine has no problems with the location of Russian prisoners of war. According to him, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the United Nations have access to the citizens of the Russian Federation who are captured in the territory of Ukraine.
