"Should stop the war": Scholtz has made negotiations with Putin about Ukraine

The Head of the German Government predicts escalation due to military defeats of the Russian Federation. German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz assumes the holding of negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the end of the war in Ukraine. He stated this in an interview with the German edition of Süddeutsche Zeitung, DW reports. According to Olaf Soltz, Germany wants Russia to stop an aggressive war against Ukraine, and Ukrainians have defended the integrity of their territories.

To do this, you need to negotiate, however, the chancellor does not yet know in which format it is best to organize them: through the phone, video or at the table. According to Olaf Sholtz, there is a high probability of escalation of the conflict due to the defeat of Russia on the battlefield. Russia should be aware that it is impossible to continue aggression, and President Vladimir Putin should "end the war, remove troops and create an opportunity for mutual understanding.

" On December 2, Olaf Scholtz had a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin about the war in Ukraine. German Chancellor condemned Russian strikes on civil infrastructure and called on the President of the Russian Federation to find a diplomatic resolution of the conflict as soon as possible, including considering the withdrawal of troops from the Ukrainian territory. In response, Vladimir Putin called the event policy "destructive" through the supply of weapons to Ukraine.

Later, Olaf Scholtz stated that negotiations with Russia on the placement of weapons in the EU are possible only after the withdrawal of troops from Ukraine. According to Chancellor, the German government was ready to discuss this issue before the full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation. They also wrote that the radicals wanted to kill Olaf Scholtz during a government.
