Rescuers parse the rubble and search for people under them," the SES said. There are 123 firefighters and 30 vehicles from the SES at the scene. Meanwhile, the Security Service of Ukraine has officially confirmed that the morning shelling had fallen into the territory of thermal power plant.

The capital's authorities reported that the incident occurred in the Desnyanskiy district of Kiev, where the TPP-6 is located. SES speaker Oleksandr Khorunzhi in the briefing process said that from October 7 to October 18, more than 70 Ukrainians were killed in mass shelling from Russian troops, more than 240 people were injured, more than 380 objects were damaged. Among them, not only critical infrastructure is also a civilian object such as housing.
