After decades of prosperity Europe is not ready for war - People's Deputy

According to Andriy Osadchuk, the Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Voice Party, the leaders of European countries have only thought about how to provide a comfortable life to their citizens. As a result, they were not ready to become leaders during the war. European leaders were "completely not ready" for the war of such a scale that unfolded in Ukraine, said the People's Deputy from the Voice Party Andriy Osadchuk in an interview with British news agency, Sky News reports.

For decades, the European continent has thrived and the leaders of the countries had to think only of how to provide comfort for citizens. As a result, leaders of the countries were not ready to become military leaders. According to the People's Deputy, the heads of European states, although they are still "afraid" of wars, but can no longer stand aside. "It has now become clear that there was no other way out other than the victory of Ukraine.

But unfortunately, we are still seeing a delay in military assistance to Ukraine," the deputy said. Osadchuk also recalled the words of Zelensky, who stated that Ukraine's military support is, in fact, investing in the European future, as it would allow the residents of Europe to protect their officers and soldiers - and they will not have to participate in this nightmare. Osadchuk in conversation with British journalists touched the topics of tanks.

According to him, Ukraine will not be able to attack without heavy armored vehicles. "Yes, the United Kingdom has announced the supply of 12 or 14 new tanks, which are probably some of the best in its class, and that's very good," the MP said. At the same time, he said that the front line stretches more than 1000 km, so the Armed Forces of Ukraine should not only defend their territories, but also release their territories, which is repeated daily by representatives of the Kiev leadership.
