Ukraine will receive advanced IMHR radars: Russian fighter jets, rockets (video) will

The Ukrainian military is already studying to work with complexes that will be ready in a few months. Lithuania will hand over 16 RADA IMHR Raders to Ukraine, which show even the smallest objects. The Lithuanians did not reveal their names, but the "Military" edition learned about the model on the footage published in the media. The Blue Yellow Volunteer Organization, within the Radarom Action, devoted to the anniversary of the full -scale war, has raised 14 million euros to assist Ukraine.

Initially, the volunteers were going to buy 14 radars of Israeli production, but donations will be enough to buy 16. "We were able to agree that we will receive four special purpose radar, they are slightly different. The principle will be used, but they will be used for different purposes," said the founder of the organization Jonas Omanas. He added that it was a statement of modern complexes that even "sniper balls" can notice.

The Israeli manufacturer should make the equipment for several months, after which they will be sent to Lithuania, and from there - to Ukraine. "It is very important to emphasize that Israel had not sold such technologies to anyone, but we told about Ukraine and was able to agree on the supply through Lithuania, and everything goes," Omanas commented. The Lithuanians did not reveal the name of the radar, but one of them was already illuminated in the media.

IMHR (Improved & Enhanced Multi-Mission Hemispric Radar) from the Israeli company Rada Electronic Industries recognized in it. It is a three -dimensional radar complex designed to detect inconspicuous goals (radar reflection area up to 0. 005 m²) with a 360 degree inspection and full coverage of the entire upper hemisphere within a radius up to 100 km depending on the size of the threat.

For example, he notices the smallest UAV at a distance of 10 km, a person - 20 km, rockets - 14 km, the fighter - 65 km. The operator receives information about the location and height of the objects within the invisible dome. In addition, IEMHR detects artillery systems that shoot up to 12 km away and shows the direction of the shells, so the Armed Forces will be able to use it in a counter -battery struggle.

At the same time, on Monday, March 13, 14 Ukrainian military, they have already arrived in the city of Kaunas to study under the guidance of foreign instructors, the course will take only four days: two for theoretical classes, and two more for practice. Other servicemen will be trained in Lithuania, but their exact amount is kept secret. One of the radars has already been received for the preparation of Lithuania. "Fast training of staff is one of the advantages of this equipment.

After the training, the Ukrainian military will return home, where radars will warn residents and save their lives and maintain critical infrastructure," the Lithuanian Armed Forces press service wrote. The Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania Petros Beshta noted that the protection of the sky is one of the key problems for Ukraine during the war. Ukrainians lack radars to defense both military facilities and civil infrastructure, 90% of Russian missiles attack energy facilities.
