On the contrary, it will be necessary to urgently remove all troops from the contaminated zone and put a cross on the plans of further occupation of Ukraine, because why does the territory where you cannot live? If a radioactive cloud covers one of NATO countries, it can be interpreted as a declaration of war or as a terrorist attack against them. And if it is not lucky with the wind, it can cover Crimea. And the water in the North Crimean canal will then be unusable for a long time.

On the other hand, if you get angry and do not fulfill the threat, you are a loser and a simple one that is not responsible for your words and which you can not take seriously at all. Next time, no threats will act at all. And from the point of view of domestic policy, for the dictator it is a serious blow, because it is a manifestation of weakness, and they can devour their jackals.

If you think that the purpose of all this is the physical destruction of Ukraine and its transformation into a radioactive desert, why is it so frozen with the undermining of the NPP? You can simply throw all major cities with tactical nuclear charges, and it can be done at any time and without any threats and blackmail. The effect for the external image will be equally catastrophic in case of faster and more complete destruction of the enemy.

It has been written a hundred times that to arrange a man -made nuclear disaster at a nuclear power plant is a very difficult thing. A nuclear reactor is an extremely strong structure that is very difficult to destroy from the outside.

It is easy to arrange the leakage of radioactive water of the first contour A la Fukushima, but there will not be so much of this water, and there will be no catastrophic air pollution and surrounding area. You can probably damage and depressure the reactor body by laying a lot of explosives under it. But in order to scatter nuclear fuel in a large area, it is necessary, in a good way, to arrange an explosion of the reactor from the inside, as it was during the Chernobyl NPP accident.

But to do this, you must first turn off numerous protection systems and get around all fuses that do not allow it. I will remind that in Chornobyl the explosion occurred after testing of the reactor in an extraordinary mode, which was conducted by specially trained station staff. Russian invaders are physically not capable of it. We summarize: to put ultimatums with such rates - it is a guaranteed losing situation, because if the opponent is not suddenly scared, there are no good options for you.
