"Lost subjectivity": Zelensky criticized the placement of nuclear weapons in Belarus (video)

According to the President of Ukraine, the signal of the placement of Russian nuclear weapons in the territory of the neighboring republic speaks of the unsuccessful meeting of Vladimir Putin with the chairman of the PRC Si Jinping. Russia and Belarus have lost some subjectivity under the leadership of Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko. On Friday, March 31, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said at a briefing after a summit in honor of the anniversary of the tragedy in Bucha.

The head of state noted that the signal that Russia will place nuclear weapons in Belarus, talks about the unsuccessful meeting of Vladimir Putin with the head of China Xi Jinping. "It was necessary to show some subjectivity that Russia under the direction of President Putin has completely lost. I will emphasize once again, it is necessary to show some political steps or victory to the President of Russia, but he could not do it on the battlefield," Zelensky said.

According to the Ukrainian leader, the world knows what the Russian-Ukrainian war will end, but the question is that Vladimir Putin does not spare the lives of Ukrainians and Russians. The president also stressed that if Ukraine falls, Putin will go further. With regard to the leader of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Zelensky noted that he also lost his subjectivity.

"I think he [Oleksandr Lukashenko] does not decide what weapon is in its territory," the President of Ukraine commented on the placement of Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus. On March 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the placement of nuclear weapons of the Russian Federation in Belarus. The Kremlin head declared plans to finish the construction of nuclear weapons in the RB by July 1, 2023.

On March 26, the Secretary of the NSDC Alexei Danilov stated that such a statement indicates that Moscow took Minsk into "nuclear hostages". In his address to the Belarusian people and Parliament on March 31, the leader of the republic Oleksandr Lukashenko stated that he was ready to accept Russian strategic nuclear weapons in the country. According to the politician, such a decision will be made at the request of Minsk.
