Yesterday, Pentagon said that a new package of assistance to Ukraine is designed to strengthen the defense of the state for many years, unlike short -term military assistance. These are very bad news for Russia. The invasion of Ukraine slowly but confidently turns to Russia into the same "swamp" that Vietnam eventually became for the United States. For completely different reasons, these situations are similar.
But I will remind that the United States spent a huge military, financial and human resources, but they did not achieve anything and were forced to leave Vietnam. This war is not proud of this war. The same is awaiting Russia, but multiplied by the destructive processes of sanctions and the effect of isolation from modern technologies. In fact, the Kremlin drives Russia into Iran. It is possible to live so, but it will not be possible to develop and play an active role in geopolitics.
