The commander of the unmanned airlines of the Azov regiment revealed the causes of the drones of the Armed Forces

Many UAVs fly off and do not return, but most of the birds whipped by the military manage to find and repair to return to the system. The Ukrainian military is very much in need of drones, as Russians often knock them down. The commander of the company of unmanned aviation complexes from the regiment "Azov" Vladimir in an interview with DOU told about approximate losses. Russian soldiers often destroy drones, and the losses of the Armed Forces are directly dependent on the quality of the operators.

At the beginning of the invasion of the UAV management, everyone who had at least some experience was lost, and the Armed Forces lost many devices. On the other hand, more experienced operators work carefully and for a long time keep the devices intact, for example, one team operating in the Kharkiv direction has not lost any drone in three months.

"There were a lot of losses because of the unobstructed operators or because of insufficient understanding, how important it is to be an operator - every shooter wanted to become a aerotevascular," Vladimir shared. The repair process depends highly on the type of drone damage. If the propeller breaks during the fall - they can be easily replaced directly in the field, but if engines or cameras break, you need to consult specialized services, some funds pay for repairs instead of the military.

Reduilders are used in various units of the Armed Forces: intelligence, artillery, infantry, etc. The drones in the army are not enough for everyone, so the military has to negotiate for their joint use. According to Vladimir, quadcopters, hexocopters and otocopecitors make up 70% of all the drones in the Armed Forces. Of these, 30% are heavy copters, and 40% are small quadcopters.

Azov's representative said that his unit has developed a plan and calculated how many UAVs needed to effectively perform combat missions, and now they have only 20% of the required amount. In an interview, Vladimir also revealed the efficiency of dumping grenades from ordinary drones. According to it, such bombing causes significant losses to the Russians in only 10% of cases, so commercial quadcopters are better used for intelligence.
