During this time, the air defense groups were able to destroy dozens of air enemy goals. The main tasks of the units are the reconnaissance of the airspace and the destruction of the air opponent. The main advantage of mobile air defense groups compared to stationary complexes is their rapid deployment - up to ten minutes. Other advantages of their use also indicate the ability of units to move the terrain depending on the location of the Russian group.
The group usually includes four servicemen, namely: "The emergence of mobile fire groups is a successful optimization of the Armed Forces,"-says Lieutenant General Sergey Naev, commander of the United States of the Armed Forces. He explains that in order to create such a group on a car provided by volunteers, appropriate weapons are installed. It can be either a large machine gun or a portable anti-aircraft missile complex.
"By saturating our air defense system in such groups, we increase the effectiveness of defense as a whole," Nayev emphasizes. On January 20, this year in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that 19 mobile air defense groups were created in the northern operating area.
