Causes disappointment: Kuleba has rigidly addressed to countries that hinder weapons transfer

The Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said that the current situation is a kind of inspection of European countries. According to the diplomat, she will show whether the European Union is ready to make new important security decisions. Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba criticized Europe at a low pace of ammunition for the Armed Forces. The head of the profile ministry wrote this post on his Twitter page.

"The inability of the EU to implement its own decision on joint purchases of ammunition for Ukraine is disappointed," the diplomat wrote. According to the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, the current situation is a kind of verification of whether the EU has strategic autonomy in making new important security decisions. At the end of the post, Kuleba summarized that for every day of simple technique and ammunition, it costs Ukrainians.

The main point of dispute is how much money is limited to EU manufacturers and whether to include companies from countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom. France wants to save money within the EU and remove other countries from the process. So France wants to buy shells only from the EU Member States and more: representatives of the country have voiced the idea of a general budget for all European countries.

They specified that when the amount of ammunition will be purchased for the purchase of the Armed Forces will be purchased, it will be possible to talk about assistance to Ukraine. For its part, Poland does not agree with this decision. Representatives of the Polish side to the camera stated that Paris sabotage the transfer of the necessary ammunition and equipment to Kiev.

We will remind, on April 13 the Council of the European Union approved the allocation of 1 billion euros for ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The money allocated within the European Peace Fund (EPF) will allow EU Member States to compensate for the ammunition provided to Ukraine from reserves or by changing existing orders from February 9 to May 31 of this year. In addition, on March 20, the European Union approved a plan for the supply of ammunition to Ukraine for 2 billion euros.
