Poland's Prime Minister called the Condition of the Country to War with Russia

According to Mateusz Moravtsky, the war in Ukraine is a real threat to Poland. The head of the Polish government Mateusz Moravetsky stated that if Poland ceases to assist Ukraine, the war will come to their territory. These words were heard in his weekly podcast, when he spoke about the events in the Pshevodov in the Lublin Voivodeship, where rockets fell and an explosion occurred, which killed two people, writes Gazeta Olsztynska.

"Today there is only one way to draw Poland into the war back to Ukraine; if we do not support it, it will get a huge dependence on Russia, and then the war will come to us by itself. Putin will not stop, the Kremlin will go further, passivity will be for us suicide, "the Prime Minister said.

Analyzing the tragedy in Pshevodov, the politician noted that what happened should let people understand if someone still has doubts that the war in Ukraine is quite real and is a threat to the neighboring state. "Unfortunately, the fire of the war first spread to our territory . . . But the truth is that as a NATO, we must be ready and we are ready for such events," Moravtsky said.

According to him, this is not the first such critical situation, and recalled last year's attempts to break through the Polish-Belarusian border. "Even then, we have suffered a number of hybrid attacks and bombardment with fake news," the head of government recalled, adding that Poland then coped with the crisis.

"We do not yet know the exact circumstances and causes of the Pshevodov incident by 100%, but we know the root cause, the main reason, and this is Russian aggression against Ukraine," the Prime Minister summarized. Moravetsky assured that Poland is ready for such events, as in Pshevodov, as well as for many other situations and provocations.

He noted that the various variants of a hybrid war that Russia can lead against NATO member country has been considered for many months and there are answers to each of these scenarios. He does not reject that the Russian Federation is using this event to "ignite the fight in the information field. " "There is no other weapon against this other than to maintain coolness. Unity, solidarity, the world here is our answer. I am glad that our allies have reacted the same," Moravtsky added.

He noted that it only took the whole free world and its leaders a few hours to express solidarity with Poland and willingness to act. The Prime Minister reminded that he and President Andrzej Duda have held numerous negotiations with NATO and EU leaders. Moravetsky also announced that he would continue to discuss this issue during his Sunday visit to Finland and other partners at international forums. "Even if it is a small incident from the Ukrainian tragedy, we cannot underestimate it at all.
