At the same time, Russian propagandists significantly exaggerate the successes of the Armed Forces on the front. And, according to ISW, the media in Russia will continue to talk about the capture of large territories in Ukraine than it really is.
On Tuesday, December 20, the Russians continued their offensive in Bakhmut. The Ukrainian troops repelled the enemy's offensive 33 km northeast of the city near the village of Verkhnokamunske and Pidgorodne village and 14 km south of Bakhmut in the area of experienced and Kurdyumivka. At the same time, Russian military bloggers write that the mercenaries of the Wagner Group tried to break through the defense northeast of Bakhmut in the Bakhmut village.
