The White House stated that the Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin was increasingly difficult to hide the scale of their failures in Ukraine from the Russians. US National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby said in a comment CNN that he could not say with certainty that Ukraine's recent successes are an important turning point in the war, but called them "impressive".
