Inside such drone found an internal combustion engine with a plastic canister instead of a fuel tank.

In particular, the subject "Merlin-BR" was equipped with a thermal imaging with a French matrix and an Israeli lens. The mass production of these drones was not reported, as well as their testing. However, in June last year, the defenders first killed Merlin-BR in the territory of Ukraine.
The experimental UAVs were noticed by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which may indicate its mass production.
