They want to "destroy the situation": Moldova confirmed the receipt of Ukrainian intelligence on plans of the Russian Federation

Currently, Chisinau is taking prompt measures to identify attempts by the aggressor country to destabilize the situation in the state. Maya Sandu administration stated that the president is constantly exchanging information with Zelensky. The Moldova Security and Intelligence Service (SIS) on Thursday, February 9, confirmed the statement of President Vladimir Zelensky about the transfer of Ukrainian intelligence data.

According to the information intercepted, the Kremlin intends to destabilize the situation in the state. The relevant statement was published on the official website of the Moldavian department. "Following the statements of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the intelligence and security service confirms the receipt of relevant information from our Ukrainian partners," the message reads.

SIS is now taking prompt measures to identify attempts to destabilize the situation in the country, and also works closely on this issue with partner special services. The Security Service said that they could not inform the parts so far because of the threat of disrupting the operational measures.

According to the local newspaper Newsmaker, in the administration of President, Maya Sandu, for his part, reported that the head of Moldova was constantly exchanging information with Vladimir Zelensky and really received a warning about the Kremlin's plans to "destroy the political situation" in the country.

"Our competent authorities are working to ensure the security of the country and use all the information support of partners to predict and prevent any attempts to undermine our country," Sandu's administration says. Instead, they specify that all government agencies in Moldova work as usual.
