In the Russian Federation declared the creation of the first jet drone-Kamikadze: the characteristics were revealed

The developers assure that artificial intelligence will allow the drone to track the goals on its own. The company "Unmanned devices" has created the first in Russia Dron Kamikadze with a first person (FPV) management under the name K-5. She introduced an experienced sample at the Exhibition "Equipment" in Moscow, reports the Russian news agency "RIA Novosti". The K-5 looks like a miniature fighter without a cabin, but with an air intake near the tail.

It must serve as a bargaining ammunition, that is, to fly in the sky before the goal is detected, and then dive on it and explode. According to the creators, the military needs to start the drone with the help of catapult or solid fuel withdrawal rocket and bring it into the war zone, and then the built -in system is aimed at enemy objects. According to the developers, the turbojet engine allows K-5 to move quickly, with the design allows you to effectively maneuver in the air.

The aircraft is allegedly equipped with a system of artificial intelligence and computer vision technology to distinguish objects by thermal track and visual outlines. Engineers also promise to add an inertial system to control a drone without using radio channels. K-5 is currently being tested in Russia, which plans to be completed by the end of 2023. Then they are going to launch a serial production of reconnaissance and shock models with different amounts of load.

The company assure that Russian components are used, except for the engine. Recall that recently experts disassembled the Dron-Kamikadze "Lancet" of Russian production and found foreign details in it. The Russians began to use new chips that made in the United States in August 2022. They also wrote that the Russians want to experience Korshun battle drones in Ukraine. They have a hybrid structure with a vertical take -off system that facilitates the launch of the aircraft.
