Russian ships were in the Nord Stream area before a series of explosions - media

Journalists were able to collect and establish very detailed data on the movement of Russian courts in the area shortly before diversions. Russian ships moved with off identification devices. Several journalists from northern Europe conducted a joint investigation, which concluded that ships from the Russian Federation were not less than three times seen in the areas of explosions on the branches of the Nord Stream gas pipeline, and one of them - five days before the incident.

According to "European Truth", this is stated in a recent study of the Danish broadcaster DR, Norwegian NRK, Swedish SVT and Finnish Yle. According to journalists, Russian vessels were moving around the area with disabled identification devices, however, analyzing with KSAT satellite images and radio communications information, which the vessels exchanged with their military bases, managed to establish their movement.

So, according to investigations, it became known that ships from the Russian Federation were visited in June 2022 at least twice, and the latter occurred less than a week before a series of explosions. At the same time, one of the ships remained in the Nord Stream area for almost a day. The first ship, whose name is not specified, was fixed near the gas pipeline on July 7. He left the maritime base in Kaliningrad and went to the area, located in the southeast of Karlskruna and east of Bournholm.

The vessel spent several hours at the same place where the branches of the gas pipeline pass at a depth of 80 meters and where, according to the Danish authorities, three out of four explosions occurred. The second ship-an 86-meter Sibiriakov was recorded in the area of the gas pipeline on June 14 and was near or practically over the pipelines, moving at low speed. Satellite images showed that Sibiriakov was several hundred meters from one of the explosions.

The pictures also showed another ship that could not be identified as it was moving with the identified device. Both ships were in the immediate vicinity of one of the explosions. At the same time, in June 2022, NATO Baltops 22 was also trained in the Baltic Sea, but journalists did not find any units of the Alliance's ships close to the area that could be recorded by an unspecified ship and Sibiriakova.

The third fixed vessel that could be involved in the incidents visited the pipelines on September 21. 49-meter tugboat SB-123 Baltic Fleet. Journalists found that the SB-123 switched off halfway transponder from the base in Kaliningrad to the North Streams area and could be in the area from about 20:00 on September 21 to 14:00 on September 22.

The Swedish Prosecutor Mats Linquist, the main responsible for the diversion in the gas pipeline, noted that the investigation has established very detailed data on the movement of the courts in the area, even the "ghost courts", but at this stage he cannot comment on.

The investigation stated that last September, the Danish media received data from military sources, that four days before the explosions near the pipelines, the Russian SS-750 ship was also noticed, but the Russian Embassy in Copenhagen refused to comment on this information. We will remind, in mid -March 2023 Russian President Vladimir Putin rejected the version of the presence of a "Ukrainian trace" in the case of explosions at the Nord Stream gas pipelines.
