As before, the vast majority of electric cars sold are used: their share is 89%. However, in the segment of new electric vehicles, an increase of 229% was observed compared to last year. The main reason for such a jump in demand is the rise in price of petroleum products and their deficiency in May-June. The market leader remains unchanged - Nissan Leaf has found 288 buyers in the month.
At the same time, significant growth was demonstrated by Volkswagen electric vehicles - they were already ahead of Tesla. The Volkswagen ID. 4 crossover is leading among new electric vehicles. The second place is dongfeng-chonda X-NV/M-NV, and the third Audi E-Tron. In total, in seven months of 2022, Ukrainians bought almost 5. 9 thousand electric cars. This is 34% higher than the same period last year. Earlier, Focus reported that in Ukraine the sale of inexpensive cargo electric vehicles for $ 26 000.
