These measures, according to the head of the annexed Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, are necessary for the protection of the peninsula. The occupied Crimea works on the erection of fortifications. This was stated by the "head" of the annexed peninsula Sergey Aksyonov. According to the collaborator, he ordered that fortifications would be erected in the Crimea. Aksyonov claims that this is necessary to protect the peninsula.

"In the territory of Crimea under my control, fortifications aimed at guaranteed safety of Crimeans are guaranteed," Aksyonov stressed, adding that the safety of the peninsula can also be ensured through measures carried out by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the captured territories of the Kherson region. Summarizing, the "head" of the annexed Crimea added that his initiative to create fortifications was supported in the Kremlin.
