The Israeli Foreign Ministry stated that they would now talk less about the Russian-Ukrainian war, but will continue to continue the humanitarian support of Ukraine. The recently appointed Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel Eli Cohen on Tuesday, January 3, said he had a willingness to renew direct contacts with Russia and announced negotiations with his Russian colleague Sergei Lavrov. About it reports the newspaper Haaretz.

Cohen refused to comment on Ukraine's request for defense weapons from Israel. At the same time, the Foreign Minister noted that "significant humanitarian aid" will continue to continue and added that the ministry will now talk less about the Russian-Ukrainian war. "In the matter of Russia and Ukraine, we will definitely do one thing - we will speak less in public," - quotes Cohen Haaretz.
