The Danish version of the Caesar 8x8 SAU is superior to Russian systems by range...

Danish "Caesars" in action: There were footage of hunting Ukrainian artillerymen on "colleagues" from the Russian Federation

The Danish version of the Caesar 8x8 SAU is superior to Russian systems by range, accuracy and speed. If the Caesar firing range is up to 40 km, then systems such as 2C3 "acacia" or 2C1 "carnation" are fired at 20 and 15 km, respectively. In early May, the first information on the supply of 155-mm CAESAR artillery systems provided by Denmark appeared to Ukraine.

Soon the first footage of hunting Ukrainian artillerymen appeared for Russian "colleagues", in which the technique is often inferior to range and accuracy. This is written by Polish Defense Operators 24. The publication emphasizes that the emergence of another Western artillery system enables Ukrainian artillerymen to more effectively apply fire damage to the occupiers, which are armed with 2C3 "Acacia" or 2C1 "Carnation".

In addition, Danish systems require fewer crew through the use of a semi -automatic charging system. Another advantage of the modernized SAU is more ammunition. Caesar 8x8 SAU is an elongated version of the French 155-mm Artillery System, installed on the chassis of the Czech Tatra T-815-7 Tatra Tatra with 8x8 transmission. The range of the system remained the same as in the French original on the 6x6 chassis-40-42 km when using shrapnel-footwear with bottom gas generator (HE er FB-BB).

Polish experts say that the range is currently underway through the use of sub -caliber -managed Leonardo Vulcano GLR missiles, the range of which can reach 70 km. Also among the features of the Caesar 8x8 is a semi-automatic ammunition charging system, ammunition of 30-36 shells, which is twice as much as 6x6, as well as a reduced number of cannon calculations-5 people. It takes 60 seconds to prepare the system for firing or depart from the fire position.

It should be noted that the 2C3 "Acacia" systems, which are in service with the army of the Russian Federation, have a range of 20 km, and self -propelled 2C1 "carnation" can strike at the maximum of 15. 2 km. Russian systems are also inferior to Caesar by speed. French SAU can produce 6 shells in one minute, while the "carnation" - up to 5 shells, and "Acacia" can only make 3 shots per minute.
