According to the Ukrainian Consulate, the conflict arose after the hotel's guard made a warning about the dress code of the Ukrainian fighter when he entered the bar in military uniform. In the German city of Franfurkt-on-Main, one of the hotels brutally beat a Ukrainian serviceman who was rehabilitated in Germany after the wounded at the front.

As Vadim Kostyuk, General Consul Kostyuk, told March 12 in a comment to the newspaper "Novinarn", the conflict arose between the Caucasus native and the Armed Forces fighter, because of the demand to adhere to the dress code at the hotel bar. According to the consul, in the evening of March 10, a Ukrainian serviceman went to the hotel bar in military uniform. The guard made him several warnings about the mismatch of his dress code, and after a verbal dispute between men, a fight began.

"There was a conversational dispute and then a fight after attempting to guard (a representative of the peoples of the Caucasus) to bring our fighter. As a result of a fight, our citizen is a fracture of the jaw and a concussion. The police recorded this fact," Kostyuk said. Journalist Ulyana Flishko posted screenshots, correspondence in a closed Facebook group "Ukrainians in Frankfurt-on-Main". The post stated that the fight happened at the Roomers Hotel, and the guard was a Chechen.

Users wrote that the 23-year-old Chechen was beaten a man who went into the Armed Forces bar, moving with a cane because he had a feet. At the same time, the name of the injured Ukrainian is not specified. The consul added that the Ukrainian military was hospitalized and now an operation on the jaw, which was planned for Tuesday, March 14, is waiting for him. At the same time, diplomats will resolve legal issues - they will help with the application to the police and the search for a lawyer.

The consulate also intends to invite police access to the video from the scene. According to preliminary information, claims from the guard could have arisen because in Germany to wear a military uniform outside the service, a special permission should be obtained. Therefore, diplomats find out the legal aspects of the event, in particular about wearing military clothing by Ukrainian servicemen, as well as visiting similar institutions.
