This is stated in the construction of the Armed Forces General Staff for August 4. The department emphasized that the fighting in this direction continued. The enemy firets settlements from tanks and various types of artillery.

The enemy concentrates major efforts in eastern Ukraine to establish full control over Donetsk and Luhansk regions within their administrative borders. Continues fighting on the maintenance of temporarily captured areas of Kherson and part of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya and Mykolaiv regions.
