After the war, Ukraine will move to the Israeli safety model - Shmigal

Prime Minister Denis Shmigal said on September 14 that after the war, Ukraine would move to the Israeli model of security in public. During the briefing, the head of government said that security has now become a key factor, and after the end of the war, it "would be a priority # 1 for our society. " “It is both the army and the safety of life. Starting from schools, hospitals, mass places, shopping malls, which should be provided with appropriate [safety measures] . . .

The model of Israel, when there is a security at the entrance to each room with a cluster of people, some have a framework that does not allow weapons to carry. All this awaits us, ”the Prime Minister says. Video of the Day, according to Shmigal, now in Ukraine is working on such a concept and a new policy of security and law. It may, in particular, provide for the employment of a large number of veterans.

The prime minister added that the new approach will affect the construction standards, including the presence of shelters in buildings. Schmigal also said that in the future the Ukrainian army will complete the implementation of NATO standards, and the core of the Armed Forces should be contractors. “All citizens, at least all men, must be conscripted, and take appropriate courses. In my vision, and we have already started discussing these things, calling as a Soviet model should be canceled.
