Russian fakes will not pass. Google launches a campaign to combat misinformation about Ukrainian refugees

Psychologists from Cambridge and Bristol universities in collaboration with Jigsaw have created half -skil -rallys about refugees from Ukraine, which will be shown in advertising slots on YouTube and Google, as well as on Twitter, Tiktok and Facebook. The campaign is directed against fakes about victims of war in Ukraine, who often spread pro -Russian propagandists.

Its task is to increase the stability of the network users to manipulative statements and to avoid negative narratives about refugees. Video of the Day "If you just tell people the truth, many will deny . . . But you can provide methods that will be used to spread misinformation, as in the case of war in Ukraine," - said John Rosenbeck, a leading campaign expert. The campaign starts in Poland, a country that has accepted the largest number of Ukrainian refugees.
