Sanctions of Ukraine against the Russian Federation: OP claims that 83 kg of documents had to be worked out

According to him, the representative of OP Andriy Smirnov, the staff of the Presidential Office processed materials concerning more than 3,600 legal entities and individuals from the Russian Federation.

The coordinator of the working group for the creation of a special international tribunal Andriy Smirnov said that employees of the Presidential Office of Ukraine had developed a package of sanctions on Russian oligarchs and enterprises for about a month due to a large volume of available documents and materials. About it reports "Babel".

According to him, OP staff have processed materials of more than 3600 legal entities and individuals related to Russia from October 1, the next day after the NSDC approved the sanctions. Smirnov said that 83 kg of documents had to be worked - the work was quite long. In the future, representatives of the Ministry of Justice may apply to the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court and require confiscation of assets of the Russian Federation to which sanctions apply.

Smirnov explained the slow introduction of sanctions by Ukraine with the nuances of the workflow. "When we decide whether to apply certain sanctions, we turn to international partners so that they reflect our restrictive measures," Smirnov explained, adding that such a scheme sometimes works in the opposite direction when Western partners seek that Ukraine was more intensively introduced by individual or legal persons. Recall that Zelensky introduced sanctions on 4 thousand people and companies.
