The Belarusian Army has increased the air defense forces with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - the Ministry of Defense

In the Belarusian Defense Ministry, it was specified that jointly formed units of the SAC had been prevented for combat duty in the designated areas. The Ministry of Defense of Belarus declared an increase in air defense forces with the participation of the Russian side, after which jointly formed units went to the designated areas. This was announced on January 11 by the press service of the Defense Office of the Republic.

"According to the plan of the Air Force Commander and the troops of the Republic of Belarus, the Air Defense forces of the RGV (C) Belarus and Russia were increased," the statement said. Anti -aircraft missile units were remained in the designated areas and stopped for combat duty. Earlier, Belarusian politician Oleksandr Lukashenko stated about the strengthening of Belarusian air defense.

At a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin, on December 19, he said that Russia had adopted the C-400 missile complex. Information on the re-equipment of the Belarusian army on the Russian systems of C-400 "Triumph" and "Panzer-S" appeared in January last year. Then Major General Igor Golub stated that the supply of these systems would allow Belarus to become a member of the "prestigious club of states", securely protected by the Triumph dome.
