The owner of the aircraft, worth 20 million hryvnias, was reported suspicion and wanted. A competition for the right of operation of the aircraft was also announced. The court arrested the An-140-100, worth 20 million hryvnias, owned by the director of the civil aviation enterprise, which he wanted to transfer to the Russians in the occupied Mariupol to create an "airline" there. About it reports the Office of the Prosecutor General.

"At the initiative of prosecutors of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, the court arrested a aircraft owned by the Director of Civil Aviation. Currently, the aircraft of the model An-140-100, 2004, worth more . ) ", - the publication reads.

The OGP notes that according to the investigation, in May 2022 the director of a limited liability company, which specializes in the provision of civil aviation services, decided to establish air business in the temporarily captured territories of Ukraine. To this end, the man suggested that the so -called head of the occupation administration of Mariupol create a "airline" for passenger and freight transportation.

At the same time, the suspect promised to use his own aircraft, which at that time was in the territory controlled by Ukraine. However, in fact, the plane could not be transmitted to the Russians. The man was informed of suspected preparation for collaboration (Part 1 of Article 14, Part 4 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and was wanted.

Regarding the fate of the aircraft, the ARMA staff conducted its inspection and announced a competition, the winner of which will receive the right to operate the aircraft. We will remind, on May 25 the Security Service of Ukraine announced the exposing of a collaborator who "drained" the positions of defenders of Mariupol. He will spend the next ten years behind bars.
