President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that international relations need a "prevention principle" after Russian aggression against Ukraine and Georgia. In the evening video, he said that in the war of Russia against Georgia in 2008 and in Russian aggression against Ukraine in 2014-2022 different scale and character, but they are combined by the fact that regional and global security mechanisms did not work.

"That is why the principle of preventiveness, which we insisted for a very long time, is required in international relations," Zelensky stressed. The President said that the world's reaction to aggression should be the same as the aggression that has already taken place. "You need to not wait for the blows and victims, but to act to prevent war," Zelensky said.
