According to NASA Head Bill Nelson, China did not provide data on the trajectory of the flight of the exhaust rocket launcher, and therefore it was at first it was difficult to accurately predict its place of fall. It is known that parts of this rocket are one of the largest debris that have fallen to Earth over the last few years. The US military believes that the fragments of the Chinese missile, which did not burn in the atmosphere, fell into the Pacific Ocean away from the inhabited islands and did not harm either people or ships. The same thing happened in the summer of this year, as Focus wrote. Then the fragments of the same rocket fell into the sea of ​​Sulu, between the Philippines and Malaysia.

Last week, analysts from the US non -profit organization Aerospace Corporation have warned that this rocket, like previous Chinese developments, would not completely burn in the Earth's atmosphere and at least 20% of it will necessarily fall on the planet. Analysts also stated that the possibility that these fragments would fall in a densely populated area are very unlikely, although it is not zero.

At the same time, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China Zhao Litsyan stated that most of the components of the "Chance 5b" rocket should burn in the atmosphere and the likelihood of harming people or infrastructure, as well as planes and ships, is extremely small. The fall of the Chinese 5B Chinese missile is the fourth case in the last two years, when the uncontrolled entrance of the object into the Earth's atmosphere has occurred.

NASA has traditionally criticized China for not creating rockets that can be directed to the desired trajectory and drive them in the Pacific waters, as they do with other missiles in other countries.
