Destroyed more than 60 air purposes: the Commander of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces showed the work of IRIS-T (photo, video)

After the deployment of the anti-aircraft missile complex, the crew is in a safe place, and the combat vehicle performs the task of destroying air objects that Russia launches. Since October 2022, the IRIS-T Division has destroyed more than 60 air targets in the Ukrainian sky. The Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk announced this in Telegram. Ukrainian defenders have said that this modern technique successfully fulfills tasks and effectively destroys goals.

All Iris-T operators are officers. After the deployment of the anti-aircraft missile complex, the crew is in a safe place, and the combat unit performs the task of destroying air objects that Russia launches. "We remember the second! Thank you to the German partners! Together - to the victory!", - said Mykola Oleshchuk in Telegram. All were impressed by the first use of the technique. The defenders were very surprised, because the complex quickly knocked down all the goals.

"No hostile air target comes to its appointment," the fighter in the pseudo "godfather" explained. We will remind, on April 30, Germany confirmed the transfer of Ukraine to the second IRIS-T air defense system. The Bundesver handed over eight more Zetros trucks and two 8x6 trucks with eight rolled containers. All equipment is transmitted directly from manufacturers.

The system includes a powerful launcher that affects the target of rockets within 40 km, a radar station with a range of 250 km and mobile management headquarters. It is called universal weapons. Also, on April 21, Mykola Oleshchuk reported that in fact the Ukrainian defense forces, though not in large numbers, but already have in service with Western anti-aircraft systems NASAMS, Iris-T, Patriot, Samp/T and others.
