Russian invaders on Tuesday, August 16, fired the residential quarters of Nikopol of Dnipropetrovsk region. This was reported by the head of Dnipropetrovsk Ova Valentin Reznichenko. In Telegram, he said that the shelling took place in the afternoon. “They hit the residential quarters of Nikopol. 20 jet shells from "Grads" and 10 from the barrel artillery flew to the city, ”he writes. Video of the day according to preliminary data, four people were injured and one was hospitalized.

Reznichenko noted that several private homes were destroyed in the city, and there were several other fires. The head of the Nikopol District Military Administration Yevgeny Yevtushenko called on residents who remain in the city, not to be on the street unnecessary. The Russians are fired by the Nikopol district from the territory of the temporarily occupied energy, where the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant is located.
