"We are getting ready for everything." Monastyrsky told about the situation on the occupied Russians

Energoatom has created a headquarters that considers possible scenarios for the development of the situation around the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant and prepares plans to respond to them. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky on the public. He emphasized that while Russia is controlling the rabbit, the threat of terrorist acts would be maintained.

Video of the day "we are dealing with a terrorist state, and accordingly, all actions can be related to terrorist acts that are possible around the station or information terrorist attacks. We understand, while Russia controls the ZPP, there will be great threats to this station, ”Monastyrsky said. He noted that the first minutes, as the Russians seized the station, no one was expecting that the tanks would be beaten on power units. “We understand that any scenarios are possible.

We have come to check the readiness of forces and response to the situation. Each script has its own plans, they are, ”the minister said. According to him, the Energoatom created a headquarters, which included all the forces and means, including rescuers, police officers, representatives of local authorities, who will respond accordingly depending on the threat. The largest nuclear power plant, Zaporizhzhya NPP, was captured by Russian invaders after battles in Energodar on March 4.

The buildings of the ZPE were damaged by Russian shelling in several places, and the staff of the station were captured. The Kremlin uses the Zaporozhye NPP to cover its military equipment because the Armed Forces cannot open fire in the area of the power plant, as well as for pressure on Ukraine and the world, threatening a nuclear disaster. Russian troops have equipped fire positions for the ZPP and fired from there Ukrainian cities.

Energoatom reported that the military of the Russian Federation had placed in the machine hall of the first power unit of Zaporizhzhya NPP at least 14 units of heavy military equipment with ammunition, weapons and explosives. On August 5, Russian shelling caused a fire at the NPP water station. In addition, due to damage to power lines, the 4th NPP power unit was disconnected from the power system and transferred to the reserve.

As a result of the shelling, on August 6, Russian shells got into the site near nuclear waste. Energoatom stated that the Russian soldiers carry out artillery shelling of Zaporizhzhya NPP, because they want to destroy its infrastructure and disconnect it from the power system of Ukraine to deactivate the South. Grossi's CEO of the International Atomic Energy Agency has urged the IAEA mission to allow the Zaporizhzhya NPP after her shelling by Russian troops.
