Russia has called an aging ISS by a dangerous and worn space object

Roscosmos head said the 24-year-old orbital station is turning into a pile of garbage. The International Space Station has become dangerous and unsuitable for use. This was stated by the head of the Russian space agency Yuri Borisov. This statement was made against the background that Russia is preparing to leave the ISS and tries to create its space station, Futurism writes.

According to Yuri Borisov, the ISS has already exceeded all the warranty periods of operation and the equipment begins to fail and cracks appear. "The ISS is becoming a dangerous place for astronauts," Borisov said. The 24-year orbital station still remains one of the few areas of cooperation between the US and the Russian Federation, despite the fact that relations between countries have deteriorated sharply due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

A large number of Western sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation have accelerated the country's exit process from the CCS's project and now Russia is preparing to build its space station once after 2024. Focus has already written that the Russian Federation has already introduced the project of its future orbital station, but it is not yet known when it is created.

As the focus in Russia has already wrote, possible dates were voiced when the Russian Federation leaves the ISS and this can happen in 2025, or later - in 2028 and even in 2030. Although at that time the ISS itself will definitely be disabled and its descent will occur from the orbit to sank in the waters of the Pacific.

According to Yuri Borisov, the new Russian space station will rotate around the Earth in such a way that will allow astronauts to monitor a much more Russia territory and collect new data on cosmic radiation. Currently, according to Borisov, Russia is looking for "friendly countries" that could be cooperated at the Russian space station. Particular attention is paid to China, with which the Russian Federation also plans to explore the moon and the distant space.

According to Borisov, the search for new allies is related to Western sanctions that destroyed the prospects for further cooperation with these countries. Borisov drew special attention to the decision of the European Space Agency to stop cooperation with the Russian Federation within the limits of the Examars Project.

Focus has already wrote that in this project Europe wanted to use the Russian rocket-carrier, a trigger and a landing platform for sending Rosalind Franklin to Mars for Mars for searching for extraterrestrial life. According to Borisov, this is a very wrong decision, because a lot of effort and money were spent on the preparation of the program from the Russian side. "The policy has intervened and what do we have? It should not be," said the head of "Roscosmos.
