The Security Service identified the Russian commander who ordered the torture of Ukrainians in temporarily occupied Kherson. He was the police colonel Alexander Naumenko with the call sign alpha. The SBU reported on Twitter. As it is noted, since March, the Deputy Head of the Rosgvardia Department in the Rostov region Naumenko manages servicemen and representatives of illegal armed forces of the Russian Federation in temporarily occupied Kherson.

Video of the day by his orders, illegal detentions and torture over the local residents, penetration into their premises and robbery take place. He also personally participated in the acceleration of peaceful rallies in Kherson. He gave orders to use light noise grenades and tear gas against Ukrainian citizens. Among the Kherson were victims. In addition, according to his instructions, the Russian military abducted two Ukrainians and for several weeks they were brutally tortured.

They tried to knock out information about the military of the Armed Forces and their locations, and also inclined to cooperate with the invaders. Currently, Colonel Naumenko has been suspected under Part 1 of Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which is punishable by imprisonment for a term of eight to twelve years.
