There will be no flights to Abu Dhab: Wizz Air after a wave of criticism changed his mind to recover from the Russian Federation

The airline was planning to restore flights from Moscow to Abu Dhabi since October, but the decision was delayed. In social networks, they urged to boycott the carrier. The European Lowcaster Wizz Air has suspended its plans to recover flights from Moscow to Abu Dhabi. About it reports Reuters. On August 19, the company made a statement that Wizz Air was postponing the decision to restore flights to Russia.

They decided not to mention the negative reaction on social networks in the airline, but referred to the restriction of the network supply chain. In Twitter, the airline responded to criticism by the fact that the flights in Abu Dhabi was planned to operate through a company registered in the Arab Emirates. It will act within the Rules of the Gulf countries. At the same time, Wizz Air stated that other Arab carriers were operating in the Russian Federation.

According to the edition, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is 49% belonging to the London Office. The rest of the shares belongs to the Sovereign Abu Dhabi ADQ. It should be noted that in early August, Wizz Air announced the renewal of flights from the Russian Federation in Abu Dhabi. The flights were to begin in October after the flights to suspend the Russian Federation after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. We will remind, Wizz Air planned to operate regular flights to Moscow at the price of 3607 UAH.
