"Was all the necessary checks": the SBU explained the existence of a Russian passport at his father Naumyuk

The intelligence service stated that the enemy documents received relatives after the occupation of Lugansk. At the same time, after leaving the occupied territory, they applied for abandonment of Russian citizenship. Before appointing the Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Serhiy Naumyuk passed the inspections specified by the legislation. Information about his relatives was "carefully studied".

This is stated in a comment to the SBU press service, published on May 26 on social networks. "The close relatives of Sergey Naumyuk are citizens of Ukraine, while the presence of his father and his brother of passports of the Russian Federation Sergey Naumyuk reported earlier," - emphasized in the department. The post says that Naumyuk's relatives received hostile documents after the occupation of the city of Lugansk in 2014.

According to the SBU, after leaving the temporarily occupied territory, they have applied for refusal of Russian citizenship, but the bodies of the aggressor country now deliberately block the consideration of such applications. "Currently, the father and brother of Sergei Naumyuk are constantly in the US territory, where they are expected to abolish Russian citizenship," the press service reported.
