In order to execute President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the head of the office of the Head of State Andriy Yermak held a meeting in a videoconference format with executive director UNICEF Catherine Russell.

The meeting was also attended by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets, the adviser - the Presidential President for the Rights of the Child and Children's Rehabilitation Daria Gerasimchuk, advisers to the head of the office of the head of state Dariya Zarivna and Alexander Bevz.

The parties discussed ways of strengthening cooperation in order to stop the violation of the rights of Ukrainian children by the Russian Federation, in particular their illegal movement from the territory of Ukraine, which is deportation. "We expect that UNICEF will play in this cooperation one of the most important roles, given the extensive experience of organizing and respecting the international community," said the Presidential Office Head.

According to Andrey Yermak, the involvement of the ambassadors of the goodwill UNICEF - famous and popular people - to cover the problem of violations of Russia's rights of Ukrainian children will attract the attention of this topic throughout the world. The head of the head of state emphasized that the problem of deportation by the aggressor of minor citizens of Ukraine is extremely acute.

According to officially confirmed data, in 19391 the Ukrainian child was illegally exported to the Russian Federation, Belarus or forcibly relocated to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. 470 children were killed or killed, 949 children were injured, 406 were considered missing.

"The aggressor state not only exports children, it deliberately destroys their national identity: it does everything that children forget Ukrainian, Ukrainian history, their relatives," Andrey Yermak emphasized. For her part, Katherine Russell expressed concern that happened around Ukrainian children in connection with Russia's aggressive war. According to her, the UNICEF team is doing everything possible to protect their rights.
