Our response to Amnesty International Report

Ukraine continues the policy of openness and objective approach to the legal assessment of the actions of both the aggressor and the actions of our military, which carry out defense measures. I will remind that the war in Ukraine has been going on since 2014. Since then, Ukraine has appealed to the International Criminal Court and allowed the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court to investigate military crimes and crimes against humanity in its territory.

Unlike the Russian Federation, which, on the contrary, closes all its crimes from the international community and does not enforce the decision of the European Court of Human Rights. I would also like to remind that the Ukrainian law enforcement system and our courts investigated and issued sentences to those Ukrainian military who committed crimes in the war zone. We have many such examples. It's 2014.

And when there is a fact, supported by surnames - where, who and what he did - we are open to the investigation, establishing the context and the situation in which it happens. Because without context, if we talk about bare action, there can be no objective assessment. If such facts are in international organizations, our law enforcement agencies are ready to find out circumstances. It should be noted that such studies do not take into account a number of factors.

For example, that Russians use the tactics of admiration and maintenance of settlements and while we wait for the Russian enemy in the field, as some people sometimes advise us, the Russians will just occupy all our homes. Therefore, Ukrainian cities and villages are strengthened and defended from the international criminal, from the Zlochyn state, which is the Russian Federation.

On the principle of achieving the highest efficiency, the departments of air defense are placed for covering the sky over settlements. The key attention and demands of the world should focus on the actions of the Russian Federation of Defense of Ukraine together with military administrations and local self -government bodies regularly call the local population and evacuate civilians from the surrounding areas of combat.

Everyone is granted a voluntary basis for moving to relatively safe regions, but not all civilians agree to it. Methods and approaches to the analysis and presentation of information are important to obtain an objective and correct research result. When there is no analysis of the enemy's actions in the text of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the war, it is similar to the study of the victim's actions without taking into account the actions of an armed rapist.

That is, it is simply impossible to obtain objective conclusions in this approach. We understand that the Russian Federation does not allow international organizations to be used to study circumstances. In general, neither in temporarily occupied territories, nor in its territory. So now Ukraine is not only a victim of aggression that the world has not seen, but Ukraine also a victim of its own openness.

Because such reports, without the purpose, distort the real picture of the international crime of aggression, which has been committed in the territory of Ukraine since 2014. The report does not contain information about the conditions in which Ukraine operates. And these are the conditions of defense and therefore there is no chronology of events that the crime is initially committed by the Russian Federation, and Ukraine defends its land. Moreover, Ukraine saves its own existence as a state.

And Russia generally ignores any rules, any customs of war, any rules of international conventions and does not allow international organizations to study what it does. And in such a situation, the question of the objectivity of any investigation arises, if we are only talking about the investigation of the victim's actions. It is important to mention Bucha, Mariupol in order for the study to be objective. In order to show all the violations and international crimes committed by Russia.

But the worst thing about the conclusions that are rally only on the victim's actions that they violate the hierarchy, the importance and weight of crimes. Because for the world, for the entire international community, after the Second World War, the worst crime is still a crime of aggression that violates the sovereign borders of the states and threatens the whole peace.

In this situation, the primary should not be the advice of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which today defend Europe, and the primary from all international organizations should be a demand for the whole world - to stop the international crime of the Russian Federation - aggression, from which thousands of civilians have already died. Russia will not stop in Ukraine.
