The Armed Forces have not yet entered Bakhmut: the Defense Ministry called the reasons

According to Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Malyar, during the planning of the offensive, the military command took into account the contradiction between the Wagner PEC and the Russian authorities. The forces of Ukraine's defense gradually but confidently occur in the Bakhmut direction for four days, but have not yet entered the city itself. The Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Malyar told this on Telegram.

"When planning offensive actions in the East, our military took into account the fact of contradictions between" Wagner "and the current Russian authorities," the statement said. It is also noted that the offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction are ongoing for the 4th day. "Our defenders are moving on the flanks daily. Gradually but confident. Bakhmut has not been going to Bakhmut as of today," the painter explained.

According to her, the liberation of this area has its own peculiarity, which complicates the process. In Bakhmut itself and its suburbs, the Ukrainian military at one time created a developed system of engineering fortifications and an extensive network of strongholds - now all this occupied the occupiers. Therefore, more effort and patience will be required to liberate these lands.
