"I am ready to restore the iron curtain if I have to deal with an aggressive state on the other side of the eastern border that wants to kill their neighbors, wants to take their land, wants to deprive them of their will. I am ready to build an iron curtain to heaven, in order not to let them go to us, "Andrzej Duda said. The President of Poland added that the state was increasing defense costs - they recently exceeded 2% of GDP, however, according to him, this figure can reach 4% in 2023.
Duda noted that the Poles are well aware of the need for such measures, as they never want to see the "Russian world" at home. "Let Russia leave its Russian world if they like it. We do not like it," the head of the Polish state said. Duda also stressed that Poland is a member of NATO, and thanks to this the country will be able to withstand all attempts to enslave it. "Today, the desire of Russian rulers, led by Vladimir Putin, is indeed to restore the influence of the tsarist empire.
We oppose the war, we will do everything that this war is not here," the President of Poland said. The Polish leader noted that humanity is currently watching the revival of the "Russian Imperial Complex", the result of which is aggression against Eastern Europe. "Today, the desire of Russian rulers, led by Vladimir Putin, is actually a restoration of the influence of the tsarist empire. In my opinion, it is their desire," Duda stressed.
