This was reported on Telegram by Ukrainian military correspondent Andriy Tsaplienko. It is noted that the RF81771 Fighter was released by the Irkutsk Aircraft Plant in 2018 and was transferred to the 14th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment of the city of Kursk, based near the Ukrainian border. Tsaplienko also reported that the deputy commander of this regiment Sergey Kosik was shot down in March and is now in Ukrainian captivity.
For his part, the military correspondent Roman Bochkala posted in the post a photo of the parachute opened next to the image of the whipped SO-30cm. In the comments, he noted that the aircraft with the RF-81771 was transferred to the unit of the mixed aviation division (Smad) of the 6th Leningrad Red Banner Army of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Western Military District at Khalino Airport near Kursk. The fate of the pilot of the whipped aircraft has not yet been reported.
