On Thursday, February 2, the newspaper "Ukrainian Pravda" reported that Alexander Liev allegedly found a Russian passport.
According to journalists, the document was published in Moscow in 2019 and it says that the extent was born in the capital of the Russian Federation. After the information in the media was disseminated, Alexander Liyev stated that he had no other citizenship other than Ukrainian. In confirmation of his words, Liev provided a photo of his passport, which lists the correct place of birth - Poltava region.
Later, the former official was broadcast on Facebook, in which he once again denied information about the existence of a Russian passport and called on journalist Mikhail Tkach to apologize. Liev also confirmed that he wrote an application for dismissal from the Ministry of Defense.
