In three special cars, Russia sent 30 purebred horses to North Korea. The Moscow Times writes that from 2010 to 2019, Russia sold 138 horses with a total cost of $ 584 thousand in the DPRK. The next train is intended to send medicines to the DPRK. The only border Russian-North Korean railway crossing Hassan-Tumangan was opened in 2013. It is used to export goods to the port of Rajin. In Dopandemic 2019, more than 50 thousand tons of export goods were sent through this checkpoint.
The DPRK was one of the first countries to close the borders in January 2020. At the same time, the COVID-19 infection has not been officially talked in North Korea for two years. Russia continued to supply food and medicines to the North Korean partners by 2021, after which bilateral trade was reduced to almost zero.
In October this year, the South Korean Media reported that Pyongyang had begun preparations for the opening of new trade missions across Russia to expand the imports of flour and energy. According to journalists, the country imported wheat from the aggressor country in August and Gas in October in exchange for supporting the invasion of Ukraine. Recall that the DPRK threatens to use nuclear weapons through South Korea and the USA.
